Man Stabs Puppy Repeatedly In Woodbridge: Police
A man repeatedly stabbed a puppy Thursday at a home in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police. The pup had serious injuries.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man repeatedly stabbed a puppy Thursday morning at a home in the 13300 block of Paramount Lane, according to Prince William County Police. Alex Adolpho Mendez, 19, of 26 State Shop Road in Stafford, was arrested and charged with felony cruelty. He's being held without bond.
Shortly before 7:30 a.m., police responded to the residence for an animal cruelty complaint. The caller said Mendez, a family member, had stabbed the family's dog, a 10-month-old shepherd lab mix, multiple times before fleeing on foot. He later was found and arrested without incident.
The puppy was taken to a local animal hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
