Man Strangles Woman, Abducts her in Woodbridge: Police
The victim said she and the man became involved in an argument that quickly turned violent, according to Prince William County Police.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man knocked a female acquaintance to the ground, strangled her and then prevented her from fleeing early Tuesday morning in the 1300 block of East Longview Drive, according to Prince William County Police.
Carlos Rodrigo Negrete, 21, of the 15700 block of Crocus Lane in Dumfries, was arrested the same day and charged with abduction and strangulation.
He's being held without bond.

Shortly before 5:30 a.m., police responded to the scene where the woman told police she and Negrete got into an argument that turned violent before she finally was able to get away from him.
