Man Tries To Strip Woman In Woodbridge: Police
A man is being held without bond after assaulting and then trying to disrobe a woman Tuesday in Woodbridge, according to PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man is being held without bond after assaulting and then trying to disrobe a woman Tuesday in the 3500 block of Wanda Court, according to Prince William County Police. Jahari Christopher Davis, 25, of the 3500 block of Wanda Court, was charged with strangulation, abduction with the intent to defile, possession of a schedule I or II narcotic and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
Shortly before 11 p.m., police went to the scene for a reported assault. The victim, 23, said Davis, an acquaintance of a friend, grabbed her and dragged her into a bedroom. He then choked her and began to take off her clothes. She eventually broke free, fled in her vehicle and called police.
When police arrived at the residence, they detected a strong odor of marijuana. They got a warrant, searched the residence and found both marijuana and cocaine.
