Man Walking Dog Brutally Attacked, Robbed In Woodbridge: Police

A man walking his dog was attacked and robbed by three unknown people, one of whom was armed, Thursday in Woodbridge: PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man walking his dog was attacked and robbed by three unknown people, one of whom was armed, Thursday in the 4800 block of Dashiell Place, according to Prince William County Police. The armed suspect was described as a black man of an unknown man, 6-0, 200 pounds with black hair and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Also involved were another male and a female.

Shortly before 10 p.m., police arrived at the scene for a reported robbery. The victim, 36, of Woodbridge, said he was walking his dog when he was approached by a dark vehicle. Two males and a female got out of the vehicle and began yelling at him. One of them whipped out a handgun, demanded the man's property and then hit him in the back of his head with it.

Minor injuries were reported. Police searched the area to no avail. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
