Man Who Exposed Himself To Child Busted In Woodbridge: Police
A man was arrested Thursday exposing himself to an 8-year-old girl last Sunday at a Home Depot in Woodbridge: Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man was arrested Thursday exposing himself to an 8-year-old girl last Sunday in a Home Depot at 14025 Foulger Square, according to Prince William County Police. Matthew Joseph Newton, 36, of the 12700 block of Dulcinea Place in Woodbridge, was charged with indecent exposure, taking indecent liberties with a child and assault and battery. He's being held without bond.
Around 5:30 p.m., police responded to the scene for a reported indecent exposure incident. They found that a an unknown man exposed himself and made a lewd gesture to the girl. But a female family member, 47, confronted the suspect and got a picture of him, as well, before being assaulted. The man fled on foot. After the man's photo was circulated, police say they received multiple calls about the suspect's possible identity. A warrant was issued for Newton's arrest, who surrendered without incident.
