Man Wins $100,000 Virginia Lottery Prize in Dumfries

The Woodbridge man bought his Cash 5 game ticket at a 7-Eleven on Old Stage Road in Dumfries. He says he has no immediate plans — yet.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — This Nixon is not a crook. Rather, the Woodbridge man is $100,000 richer because he played Virginia Lottery's Cash 5 game.

Nixon Barahona won with the numbers 5, 9, 12, 19 and 26.

"I was in shock," he told lottery officials. "I still can't believe it."

He bought his ticket at the 7-Eleven on 17105 Old Stage Road in Dumfries.

Barahona says he has no immediate plans for the money but that it should in handy inasmuch that he just started a business.
