Masked Man Robs IHOP In Dumfries: Police
The masked suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the IHOP on foot.

DUMFRIES, VA — A masked man robbed an IHOP in Dumfries Monday morning, taking an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene on foot, according to the Prince William County Police Department. An employee of the restaurant, located at 3914 Fettler Park Drive, told police the masked man approached the counter, brandishing a handgun and demanding money. No injuries were reported during the incident.
The Prince William police responded to the armed robbery at 6:32 a.m on Dec. 9. A police K-9 unit searched for the suspect at the IHOP, but he was not located. The suspect is described as a black male, with brown hair, last seen wearing a white bandana over his face, a black jacket and blue jeans.
