Masked Man's Sexual Assault Attempt Thwarted In Woodbridge: Police
Authorities are looking for a masked man who tried to sexually assault an 18-year-old woman Thursday at a Woodbridge park: PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Authorities are looking for a masked man who tried to sexually assault an 18-year-old woman Thursday morning at a park in the South Park Court area, according to Prince William County Police. The suspect — race and age unknown — is described as 6-1, 150 pounds with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark ski mask, gloves, dark pants and a dark hooded jacket.
Shortly before 4:30 a.m., police responded to the scene for a reported assault. The woman said she was approached by a masked man, whom she punched before running away. But he chased her, grabbed her from behind, forced her to the ground and removed part of her clothing. She fought back, yelled for help and he fled on foot. A K-9 unit and a helicopter searched for the suspect to no avail. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is urged to contact Prince William County Crime Solvers.
