There is no bigger star on the horizon for Dale City than the opening of the Americans in Wartime Museum.
The museum will educate, entertain, honor our heroes and their families, and provide Dale City with a much desired sense of identity. The museum will offer an opportunity to attract tourism to the Eastern side of the county and when completed, the museum will be the vehicle to spark new growth in retail and restaurants. The Chairman of the Americans in Wartime Museum, Allan Cors will be the guest speaker at the next Neabsco Action Alliance meeting on Thursday, October 10, 2013. Mr. Cors will provide an overview of the museum, an update on the status and a perspective on the future of the Americans in Wartime Museum.
If you are not familiar with the Museum, there will never be a better opportunity outside of a visit to the Tank Farm to give you an idea of what the excitement is all about. This yearly event has grown in scope each year and recently attracted international attention via an article in the Daily Mail, a United Kingdom publication.
The Neabsco Action Alliance is well known in the Dale City area for projects dedicated to improve appearance and build community spirit. You do not need to be a resident of the Nebsco District to join and all residents are welcome.
