WOODBRIDGE, VA — After not having much luck with the online lottery games, Brent Butler was ready to give up. That changed when he gave it one more try and won $2.2 million.

"I might not go to work today," Butler told the Virginia Lottery jokingly.

Butler won the $2,204,371 jackpot in the Banker’s Bonus game. The lottery game is one of dozens offered online and features a growing jackpot. The chances of winning any game are 1 in 3.9.

Mr. Butler, who works as a home contractor, has no immediate plans for his winnings other than paying bills.

"I can tell you my wife was more happy than me!" Butler joked.
