Update: Missing Woodbridge 12-Year-Old Found Safe: Police

Update: A 12-year-old girl who left her home in Woodbridge on Tuesday has been located safely, police announced.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 12-year-old girl from Woodbridge who was reported missing on Tuesday has been found, according to a report from the Prince William County Police Department. Authorities said the girl was located sefely.

The girl originally left her Woodbridge home on Tuesday voluntarily, police said. Authorities also said she may have taken her family's car with her when she left.

The police department did not say whether the family's car was also recovered when the girl was found.
