The Money Primary in Woodbridge: Who Wins?

Seven major party candidates will be in the running on Tuesday, but who has Woodbridge area residents pulling out their wallets?

Virginia voters will take to the polls on Super Tuesday, March 1, to cast their ballots for the presidential nomination in each party.

Across the state, Hillary Clinton has received $3,283,313 so far in campaign donations from people in the state, according to publicly available contribution data from the Federal Election Commission. Her rival, Bernie Sanders, has raised $552,513 in Virginia.

On the Republican side, the top fundraiser was Jeb Bush, who left the race after a disappointing showing in South Carolina. Among those still in the race, neurosurgeon Ben Carson has collected more than $800,000 from Virginia voters.
