More than 200 Volunteers Make Change Happen in Dumfries as part of Comcast Cares Day
Comcast employees and volunteers worked with Action in Community Through Service (ACTS) on projects as part of the 16th Comcast Cares Day
On Saturday, April 22, more than 200 local Comcast NBCUniversal employees and their families, friends and community partners, including Action in Community Through Service (ACTS) banded together to “make change happen” in Dumfries as part of the 16th annual Comcast Cares Day. Activities included packaging client kits, sorting food, landscaping and painting.
Comcast Cares Day, which takes place each April during National Volunteer Month, is Comcast NBCUniversal’s companywide celebration of its year-round commitment to service and the nation’s largest single-day corporate volunteer effort in the country.
