Mother, Daughter Who Died in Plane Crash Remembered at Memorial Service
Hundreds attend to honor Emily and Yvonne Selke: media report.

A local church held a memorial service Wednesday morning for a mother and daughter who died in the March plane crash in the French Alps.

Yvonne Selke, of Nokesville, and her adult daughter, Emily Selke, were both identified as passengers on the Germanwings airliner that officials say was intentionally taken down by the co-pilot. A total of 150 people died in the crash.
About 700 people came to the memorial service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, off Purcell Road north of Dale City, according to WRC-TV Channel 4.

Emily Selke was a 2010 graduate of Woodbridge Senior High School in Lake Ridge and a 2013 graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia.
Yvonne Selke worked for consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, and a company spokeswoman told Channel 4 she was a “wonderful co-worker and a dedicated employee” who was with the company for nearly 23 years.
