Florida Motorcycle Rider Dies In I-95 Crash In Prince William County: Police

A Florida man died on Saturday night when he was thrown from his motorcycle in a crash on I-95 in Prince William County, police said.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — A motorcycle rider died on Saturday night after a crash along Interstate 95 in Prince William County, Virginia State Police said.

Authorities identified the deceased motorcycle rider as Ronald Giscombe, Jr., a 50-year-old man from Palm Bay, Florida. No other injuries were reported in the crash, according to a release from police officials.

The crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday near mile marker 149 in Prince William County.

"A 2022 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling south on I-95 in heavy rain when it ran off the left side of the interstate," Virginia State Police officials said. "Its operator was thrown from the vehicle."

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to authorities. The crash is still being investigated.

Investigators said Giscombe died at the scene of the crash. He was wearing a helmet.
