Motorcyclist Killed After Collision in Woodbridge: Police

John R. Bachman of Woodbridge slammed into a car trying to turn left from the other direction, say Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE โ€” A 52-year-old Woodbridge was killed Tuesday morning after his motorcycle collided with a car in the area of Minnieville Road and Chesire Station Plaza, according to Prince William County Police.

John R. Bachman, of Woodbridge, was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

Around 7:30 a.m., police responded to the scene and found that Bachman, driving a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R750 was traveling north on Minnieville while the driver of the 2015 Honda Accord was traveling south.

The Honda driver tried to turn left into Chesire Station and was hit by Bachman's motorcycle.

No charges have been filed, and the Honda driver, a 69-year-old man of Woodbridge who wasn't injured, remained on the scene.

Police say speed, drug or alcohol are not factors.
