Murder Suspect Arrested In Woodbridge: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man was arrested Thursday in the shooting death of an acquaintance Wednesday at a residence in the 14700 block of Arizona Avenue, according to Prince William County Police. Jorge Anthony Sandoval, 19, of the 15000 block of Alabama Avenue in Woodbridge, was charged with murder and is being held without bond.

The identity of the victim, 22, hasn't been released pending notification of his next of kin. Shortly after 10:30 p.m., police went to the residence for a reported shooting and found the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was shot on the home's back deck, and haven't determined what caused the altercation. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
