'My Best Friend And My Sunshine': Mother's Day Photos

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Virginia to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies!

Woodbridge resident Jeanne Palomo sent us this gorgeous photo of her with her daughter, Jillian, as they visited Williamsburg in December 2016.

"My daughter is such a blessing to me. She is my best friend and my sunshine. I’m so proud and thankful for how intelligent and strong she is and I know someday she will be a great Mom. I'm very lucky God gave me a daughter like her."
