National Health Center Week- Health Fair

National Health Center Week Event: August 11 & 12, 2016
Dear Community Partner/ Neighbor:
We have a 2016 event scheduled the week of August 11th and 12th. This will be located at the Park directly behind 17739 Main Street, Dumfries, VA. Last year’s event resulted in nearly 1,500 free health screenings, services and goods for more than 500 participants during the two-day event. You are invited!
National Health Center Week is nationally acknowledged and recognizes the work communities do to ensure that everyone has affordable access to a health care. This year’s event is planned for Thursday, August 11th and Friday, August 12th, from the hours of 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
We will provide a wide range of free screenings, including breast cancer, diabetes, vision, hypertension, anemia, depression, oral health, etc. In addition, we would like to again provide patient education, enrollment services, free lunch, and plenty of entertainment for the children. During the two-day event we expect to attract as many participants as we have in previous years with the combined promotional efforts of the Center and community partners alike.
