Occoquan Fall Arts And Craft Show Changes Plans Due To Weather

The impending tropical storm expected to bring rain and wind to the area on Saturday has caused a change to the Occoquan fall craft show.

OCCOQUAN, VA — The Occoquan Fall Arts and Crafts Show is cancelled, the town announced on Friday. The event was scheduled to occur on Saturday and Sunday.

The heavy rain, high winds and cool temperatures are expected to begin around 11 p.m. on Friday and continue into Sunday morning.

The decision was made to cancel the event for the safety of the many artists, vendors, community organizations, event staff, and volunteers expected to travel to Occoquan on Saturday.
