Officer Dodges Car As Suspect Flees Traffic Stop: Police
Suspect put car in reverse and accelerated as officer was walking up to vehicle, according to Prince William County Police.
Prince William County Police is searching for a motorist who allegedly attempted to strike a police officer with his car.
Sean Anthony Spence, 26, of 5972 Tapestry Dr in Woodbridge, is charged with attempted assault & battery on an officer, eluding police and reckless driving.
Police describe Spence as a black male, 5’10’’, 170lbs with a thin build with black hair and brown eyes.

An officer had pulled Spence over for reckless driving at 12:40 a.m. Saturday int he area of Prince William Parkway and Old Bridge Road.
“As the officer began to approach the vehicle, the accused placed the vehicle in reverse and accelerated toward the officer causing the officer to jump out of the way,” according to police spokesperson Officer Nathan Probus.

Spence drove off out of the officer’s sight and was not located. No injuries were reported to the officer.
