Officers Assaulted in Woodbridge: Police

Multiple officers were assaulted early Sunday morning by a disorderly man with drugs, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Multiple officers were assaulted in the wee hours of Sunday morning by a man being investigated for disorderly conduct in the 13400 block of Orchard Drive, according to Prince William County Police. Adrian Lee Joshlin, 22, of the 1400 block of F Street, was charged with two counts of assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, possession of marijuana, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and being intoxicated in public.

Shortly after 2 a.m., police responded to the scene and made contact with the person who reportedly was being disorderly. Police verified that and also found he was holding weed. When they tried to arrest him, he resisted and a struggle ensued, during which Joshlin allegedly hit the officers. He's being held without bond.
