Parking Lot Robbery at Lowe's Thwarted in Woodbridge: Police

The 25-year-old victim repeatedly was asked for money and then was accosted, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — So a guy's sitting in his car Wednesday afternoon in a Lowe's parking lot at 13720 Smoketown Road, and a man approaches him and asks for money, according to Prince William County Police.

The guy says he doesn't have any money, and the man walks away.

The man approaches the guy a short time later and again asks for money, and the guy, 25, again says he doesn't have any money.

The man walks away to a nearby car and then parks beside the guy's vehicle.

Then, a woman in the passenger seat of the car reaches through the guy's window and tries to unsuccessfully grab a necklace from his neck.

And then the suspects flee.

The man is described as white, 5-6, 200 pounds with a heavy build, brown eyes, short black hair and with a clean-shaven face.

The woman is described as white, 5-3, 170 pounds with a heavy build, brown eyes and long black hair.
