Pedestrian Dies In Woodbridge Crash: Police
A pedestrian who police say was crossing outside a crosswalk has died in a crash on Prince William County Parkway.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A pedestrian has died after a crash in the Woodbridge area Sunday night, according to Prince William County Police.
The crash happened around 7:32 p.m. on Sunday at Prince William Parkway and Worth Avenue. Police say a 2020 Hyundai Tucson heading east on the Prince William Parkway approaching the Worth Avenue intersection struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian was crossing outside a crosswalk and wearing dark-colored clothing, according to police.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital and later died. The pedestrian was identified as Lon Thomas Osborn, 49, of Woodbridge.

The driver, a 23-year-old woman, remained on the scene and was not injured. Police do not believe speed or impairment were factors in the crash for the driver.
The crash remains under investigation.
