Pedestrian Hit And Killed In Triangle; Driver Sought

Authorities are looking for a driver who hit and killed a pedestrian Wednesday in Triangle, according to Prince William County Police.

TRIANGLE, VA — Authorities are looking for a driver who hit and killed a pedestrian Wednesday in the 18800 block of Fuller Heights Road, according to Prince William County Police. The vehicle was described as possibly a grey, older model SUV with a light top and damage to the passenger side headlight.

Around 8:45 p.m., police went to the scene for a reported crash. They found a man lying in the road suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was flown to an area hospital where he died. He also is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol when he was struck.

Police say the man, who was not in a crosswalk, was trying to cross the westbound lane of Fuller Heights Road when he was head by a vehicle headed east. The vehicle didn't stop after the crash.
