Pedestrian Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver in Dumfries: Police
A pedestrian lying in the middle of the road was hit and killed Tuesday night in Dumfries, and the driver didn't stop: PWC Police.

DUMFRIES, VA—A pedestrian lying in the middle of the road was hit and killed Tuesday night on Fraley Boulevard near Graham Park Road, according to Prince William County Police, and the driver did not stop. Alvin Smith, 40, of Dumfries, was taken to a nearby hospital where he died of his injuries.
Shortly after 7:30 p.m., a county park ranger was headed north on Fraley Boulevard when the ranger saw a man lying in the middle of the road. The ranger pulled to the side of the road to check on the man when a man in a northbound blue vehicle hit the pedestrian.
The blue vehicle briefly stopped before continuing to head north. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
