Person In Pickup Truck Brandishes Firearm In Woodbrige: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A person in a pickup truck brandished a firearm at a group of people standing in a Woodbridge parking lot early Sunday morning, the Prince William County Police Department said Monday.

At about 3:10 a.m. Sunday, Prince William County officers responded to the 1300 block of Horner Rd. in Woodbridge to investigate a report of a person brandishing a firearm. A witness reported to police that he observed a white pickup truck with multiple occupants pull up next to a group of people standing in a parking lot.

An argument escalated when one of the occupants of the vehicle brandished a firearm toward the group of people. The vehicle and the group of people dispersed prior to police arriving at the location, according to the police department.

The witness was unable to describe the driver to police.
