Photos Released of Wal-Mart Sexual Assault Suspect

He's wanted for incident Friday at Dumfries store: Prince William County police.

The Prince William County police have released surveillance photos of a man who allegedly accosted and “inappropriately touched” a Woodbridge woman at the Wal-Mart in Dumfries.

The police responded at 3:47 p.m. Friday to investigate the sexual assault reported at the store at 17041 Jefferson Davis Highway (Route 1), according to a police report.

The victim told police that she was shopping inside the Wal-Mart when she was approached by an unknown man. The man “rubbed against the victim and inappropriately touched her over her clothing,” the police report stated.

After the incident, the woman immediately notified store employees. No further contact was made and no injuries were reported, the police said.

The suspect is described by police as a black man of unknown age, possibly in his 30s with a medium build, medium complexion, black hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a white hat, white shirt and gray shorts.
