Pile Driving For New Bridge Begins Tuesday in Woodbridge: VDOT

It's part of the expansion of Route 1, and the Virginia Department of Transportation is overseeing the new span over Marumsco Creek.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Before a new bridge goes over Marumsco Creek, pile driving will be in order, and it's set to begin next Tuesday, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

It'll be just north of Marys Way, and things may get quite noisy at times.

Toward that end, crews will be monitoring noise levels "to minimize disruption to nearby businesses and residences."
