&Pizza Location Opens Its Doors In Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE, VA — &pizza, a fact-casual pizza chain that was founded in Washington, D.C., has opened a new location in Woodbridge. The new store is located at 2453 Prince William Parkway, near Chick-Fil-A, Cold Stone Creamery, Chipotle, and Starbucks.

The restaurant held a grand opening on Wednesday, July 7 where 600 people were offered a free pizza pie and free drink at the "friends & fam event." Now, the establishment is open to the general public seven days a week, starting at 11 a.m. each day.

&pizza started at a single location on H Street in Washington D.C. in 2012. Now, the brand has expanded to more than 36 locations across eight different states, including Maryland, Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania and Florida.

The restaurants are known for their oblong-shaped pizzas and quirky names that reference modern pop culture. Currently, the &pizza menu sorts offerings in sections with labels like "Heavy Hitters," "Rolling Stoned," and "Cheese Steez." Specialty pizzas include "Kalamata Harris," "Bad and Bluezy," and "American Honey."

In 2017, &pizza was named the best pizza in Washington, D.C. by the Washington City Paper. In their comments, readers commended the restaurant's service, prices, and unique selections.

The Woodbridge location is the first &pizza restaurant in Prince William County.
