Police Arrest Suspect In Armed Robbery Of Woodbridge Exxon

Prince William County police arrested a suspect Monday wanted in connection with the robbery of a Woodbridge convenience store.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — The Prince William County Police Department arrested a suspect Monday wanted in connection with the Nov. 26 robbery of a convenience store at an Exxon gas station in Woodbridge. The suspect, identified as Justin Whitfield Brandon, was taken into custody without incident.

During the robbery, Brandon allegedly began concealing merchandise he picked up at the Exxon convenience store, located at 4255 Seeton Square, and then allegedly pulled out a knife and followed an employee behind the counter. Brandon took several pieces of merchandise with him when he fled the store, the police said. No injuries were reported during the incident.

Prince William County police responded to the robbery at 5:12 p.m. on Nov. 26. The police were able to identify Brandon as the suspect on Nov. 29.

Brandon was charged with armed robbery and is being held in the Prince William County jail without bond. He has a court hearing scheduled for March 5.
