Police: Help Find Shoplifting, Assault Suspect
Footage released of suspect in shoe theft at Potomac Mills Mall, according to Prince William County Police.

Prince William County Police has released footage of the suspect in a Monday shoplifting incident that also involved the assault of a store employee who was trying to stop the subject.
An loss prevention employee told police that the suspect entered the store prior to 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 8. The man allegedly took a pair of shoes and attempted to leave the store without paying, according to police.
As an employee tried to detain the suspect, the man assaulted the employee and fled in a vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, between 20 and 30 years of age with a medium build, medium complexion and tattoos on his chest and neck. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black shirt, black pants and a black cap with white stripes
