Police Investigate String Of Burglaries In Woodbridge
The burglary of Kwatch Jewelry in Woodbridge on Sept. 8 is possibly related to two other burglaries on the same day, police said.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Prince William County police are seeking the identity of a man suspected in a string of burglaries in Woodbridge.
Early in the morning on Sept. 8, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to My Eye Doctor at 14465 Potomac Mills Rd in Woodbridge to investigate an alarm activation. When officers arrived, they observed the front glass door shattered.
A police K-9 checked the business and surrounding area for any suspects, but none were located. The police found damage inside the store but no property was immediately reported missing.

On the same night, while responding to the burglary at My Eye Doctor, officers were dispatched to the nearby Red Wings shoe business located at 14204 Smoketown Rd. for another reported alarm activation. When officers arrived, the front glass door was also shattered. A police K-9 checked the business and surrounding area for any suspects, but none were located. Leather belts were reported missing.
Later that morning, at around 5 a.m., officers went to Kwatch Jewelry at 4351 Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge to investigate a burglary. The business owner contacted police upon arriving at the store and seeing the front glass door shattered.

Video surveillance showed an unknown white male suspect using a hammer to break into the business around 2:10 a.m. Necklaces were reported missing.
The jewelry store burglary is possibly related to the other two burglaries, according to the police.
