Police: Midnight Robber Caught on Camera

The Prince William County Police Department released surveillance images Wednesday of a robbery that took place last week at a Manassas-area gas station, and they asked the public for information on the incident.

The robbery occurred at around midnight Thursday at an Exxon service station in the 8000 block of Sudley Road (Route 234), according to a police report. Police responded to the scene within five minutes, and the station’s clerk told them that the suspect displayed a black revolver and took cash from the register.
The suspect fled on foot, running south toward an adjoining shopping plaza, the police said.

He is described by police as a white or Hispanic male, between 20 and 40 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 145 pounds, with a medium build and light complexion.
Images taken by a surveillance camera at the Exxon station show the suspect wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with white stripes, blue jeans, black shoes and a blue bandana covering his face.
