Police: Missing Man May Need Assistance

The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man who walked out of a motel room Monday morning and hasn’t been seen since.

Todd W. Peterson, age 53, was last seen this morning between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at the Inns of Virginia located at 951 Annapolis Way in Woodbridge. It is believed he left the motel voluntarily on foot and may be in need of assistance.

Peterson is described as a white male, 6’0”, average weight. He was last seen wearing a red hooded coat, socks and a sheet wrapped around his lower body.

He is from Maine and has family ties to the Washington, D.C. area.
