Police Searching For Man Who Sexually Assaulted Jogger In Woodbridge

Police said the sexual assault occurred around 6:50 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of River Ridge and Powell's Creek boulevards.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Prince William County police are searching for a man they say sexually assaulted a jogger in Woodbridge.

According to police, the incident occurred around 6:50 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of River Ridge and Powell's Creek boulevards.

Police said the victim, a 26-year-old woman, was jogging in the area when she was approached by an unknown man driving a black electric scooter. During the encounter, police said the suspect touched the victim inappropriately before leaving the area on the scooter.

While investigating the incident, police learned that a similar encounter involving the suspect and victim occurred in the same area in May 2025.

The woman was not injured.

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male who is 5-feet 8-inches tall. He has medium-length brown hair and was wearing glasses and a black T-shirt.
