Police: Shooting at Triangle Shopping Plaza Sunday

One man was shot Sunday during an altercation at the Triangle Shopping Plaza on Sunday, according to Prince William County Police.

Few details were available.

The incident involved the victim and three other individuals who fled the scene on foot. The victim reportedly knew the suspects.

A police K-9 and helicopter are responding to the area, according to police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok.

The victim is being flown out from a nearby location and one travel lane northbound on Route 1 is also blocked.
