Police: Two Dogs Shot and Killed in Nokesville
Suspect facing felony animal cruelty and reckless handling of a firearm charges, according to Prince William County Police.

A Nokesville man is accused of killing two dogs found shot last month, Prince William County Police announced Wednesday.
Charles Lee Peele III, 65, of 11025 Manley Rd in Nokesville, is charged with 2 counts of felony animal cruelty and 2 counts of reckless handling of a firearm. He was released on bond.
Officer began their investigation on Nov. 8, when a German Shepherd was found dead in the area of the 10700 block of Lonesome Road.

The owner of the dog had reported two dogs missing on Nov. 6. The 5-month-old German Shepherd died from a gunshot wound. A 9-year-old German Shepherd was found the following day, also dead from a gunshot wound.
Police claim Peele was identified as a suspect in the course of the investigation. He was charged on Tuesday.
