Police: Woman Robbed at Gunpoint After Followed Home

Two men likely spotted the victim while she was walking her dog in the neighborhood, according to Prince William County Police.

A woman was likely walking her dog when two men followed her home and robbed her at gunpoint, according to Prince William County Police.

Officers responded at 12:56 a.m. Saturday to the home in the 16900 block of Porters Inn Drive in Dumfries.

The victim, 24, told police that two men forced their way into her home and, once inside, displayed handguns and demanded money.

The men took a laptop and fled the home. The victim was not injured.

Police describe the suspects as black men of unknown age. The first had a thin build with light complexion, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The second man had a medium build, medium complexion and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
