Police: Woodbridge Teen Stabbed During Pot Deal

Two suspects are at large, say Prince William County police.

The Prince William County police are searching for two suspects who robbed a Woodbridge teen on Tuesday while buying marijuana.

The suspects were described by police as black males, between 15 and 17 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds with thin builds. They were last seen wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirts and jeans.

Police officers responded at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday to the report of a robbery at a residence in the 14600 block of Brook Drive in Woodbridge.

They found that the two suspects came to the victim’s residence to purchase marijuana, according to a police report. During the encounter, one suspect displayed a knife and cut the victim, a 19-year-old man, in the hand before taking marijuana and a handgun belonging to the victim.

The suspects fled the area before police arrived. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Police obtained a search warrant and searched the victim’s home for narcotics, the report added. The investigation of this incident is continuing.
