Potomac Mills Armed Robbers Busted In Dumfries: Police
Two people are being held without bond after being arrested Monday for an armed robbery last month in the Potomac Mills mall parking lot.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two people are being held without bond after being arrested Monday for an armed robbery late last month in the Potomac Mills mall parking lot, according to Prince William County Police. Charged with one count of robbery, three counts of credit card theft and three counts of credit card fraud: Dominique Lavae Campbell, 24, of the 200 block of Washington Street in Woodbridge, and Sharnel Danese Payne, 39, of the 400 block of Newcomb Street NE in Washington DC.
On Sept. 30 shortly after 9 a.m., a 23-year-old Woodbridge woman told police she was walking on a sidewalk when she was approached by an unknown man who flashed a knife and demanded money. He took her purse and fled in a vehicle driven by an unknown woman.
Afterward, Campbell and Payne used the victim's credit cards at an area business. The suspects were identified Oct. 10 and later arrested in the 17400 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Dumfries.
