Potomac Mills Hosts Tax-Free Shopping Weekend
Virginian's can hit the savings jackpot this weekend at the area's largest outlet and value retail shopping destination
Starting today, Friday, August 4 through Sunday, August 6 Potomac Mills, Virginia’s largest outlet and value shopping destination, will offer area residents tax-free shopping. Shoppers will be able to update their fall wardrobes or stock up on back-to-school essentials from any of the center’s 200-plus retailers, all while enjoying special savings of up to 70 percent off. During this tax-free period, qualifying items will be exempt from sales tax including school supplies, clothing and footwear:
- Qualified school supplies - $20 or less per item
- Qualified clothing and footwear - $100 or less per item
Potomac Mills will also offer extended hours for bargain hunters, operating from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. on August 4 and 5, and 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. on August 6.
