Prince William County July 4 Fireworks 2017: Woodbridge, Manassas, Dale City Events
Woodbridge, Manassas, Manassas Park and Dale City have parades and fireworks planned this July 4.

DALE CITY, VA — Towns across Prince William County are planning fireworks, parades and more to celebrate the Fourth of July. Here's a list of a few area attractions.
WEATHER UPDATE: The weather forecast is a bit dicey. NBC Washington's Chuck Bell says storms will be a bit more likely south and west of the D.C. Metro area; he says rain is most likely between 2 and 7 p.m., but fireworks should be dry. The National Weather Service calls for scattered showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Look for mostly cloudy skies with a high near 93. The chance of precipitation is 40 percent. The chance of scattered rain showers before 2 am creeps up to 50 percent. Skies tonight will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 73.
Dale City: The 47th annual Independence Day Parade & Family Fun Day begins at 10 a.m. near Beville Middle School and ends at the Center Plaza commuter lot, where a Family Fun Festival will take place after the parade.

The annual tradition in Dale City showcases scouting troops, churches, politicians, performing arts groups and other groups from throughout the area. The Family Fun Day festivities, including vendors, games and entertainment, runs until 2 p.m. and costs 50 cents per ticket.

Manassas: The City of Manassas, as well as Historic Manassas, Inc!, have planned rides for kids and imbibing for adults. It will all be capped off with what's billed as "one of the largest fireworks displays in Northern Virginia." The so-called all-American party will be centered around the downtown train depot, the Harris Pavilion and the Manassas Museum. The festivities are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. with rides for the kids, after which food concessions and novelty vendors open at 4 p.m.
Manassas Park: The City of Manassas Park will host its annual July 4th fireworks celebration at Signal Hill Park, which opens at 5:30 p.m. for a variety of food trucks. Fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m. Free shuttles from VRE and City Hall.
Woodbridge: Fireworks at Pfitzner Stadium, 7 County Complex Court, after the Potomac Nationals game.
