Razor Blade Attack in Dumfries: Police

A man slashed another man with a razor blade during an argument that turned violent in Dumfries: Prince William County Police.

DUMFRIES, VA — A man cut a male acquaintance with a razor blade during a fight Thursday night, briefly left but then tried to kick open the door to go back inside in the 2500 block of Sedgewick Place, according to Prince William County Police.

Kareem Rasheen Harris, 36, of the 14800 block of Ensore Court in Woodbridge, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding, burglary and destruction of property. Minor injuries were reported. Harris is being held without bond.

Shortly before 10:30 p.m., police responded to the scene to investigate a domestic dispute. They found that the victim, a 26-year-old man of Dumfries, had been involved in an argument with Harris that turned violent. So violent, in fact, that the victim was sliced with a razor blade during the altercation.

Harris was kicked out of the residence but then tried to get back inside by kicking open the door and trying to go back inside. The two men eventually separated and police were called.
