Reported Burglary, Shooting Becomes Arrests For Trio in Woodbridge: Police

Men changed their stories several times about supposedly being shot at, according to Prince William County Police; face gun, drug charges.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Three men who may have concocted a suspicious tale of a shooting and attempted burglary in the 16700 block of Diamondleaf Oak Drive were arrested Wednesday on drug and gun charges, according to Prince William County Police.

Kevin Matthew Large, 19 (above), of the 16800 block of Brandy Moor Loop, was charged with possession of schedule I or II narcotic, possession with intent to distribute a schedule IV narcotic, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Eric Nichols Holland, 22 (first inset), of the 3400 block of Dry Powder Circle, was charged with possession of a schedule I or II narcotic, possession with intent to distribute a schedule IV narcotic and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Anibal Joshua Coleman, 25 (second inset), of the 17200 block of Nugent Lane, was charged with possession of a schedule I or II narcotic, possession with intent to distribute a schedule IV narcotic and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

When police responded to the report of shooting, they saw drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain view in the apartment and the occupants of the residence, police say, changed their stories several times about the alleged burglary and shooting.

Found in the apartment were marijuana, cocaine, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, a handgun with ammunition and money.
