Rideshare Driver Accused Of Trapping Women In Car Over Price Dispute Arrested: Police

A rideshare driver accused of trapping two women in his car over a price dispute has turned himself in, police say.

WOODBRIDGE, VA – A Falls Church man accused of trapping two women in his car over an argument about the cost of a ride has turned himself in, Prince William County police say.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, Adar Bulut, 25, of Falls Church, turned himself in to police custody on Thursday. Bulut is charged with two counts of abduction and one count of reckless driving over a Sept. 6 incident in which two women say he held them in his car against their will in a Woodbridge neighborhood over a dispute about the cost of a ride via the Lyft rideshare app.

Bulut’s first hearing has not yet been scheduled.
