Robbers Take 'Large Quantity' Of Products From Tobacco Hut
During the robbery, one of the suspects brandished a handgun while the other suspect tied the employee's hands and covered his head.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two men took a "large quantity" of tobacco products Dec. 9 during an armed robbery of a Tobacco Hut store in Woodbridge, according to the Prince William County Police Department. The suspects had fled the store before the police arrived.
Police responded to a report of a robbery at the tobacco and vaping store, located at 14455 Jefferson Davis Highway (Route 1), at 5:06 p.m. on Monday. An employee reported to police that two unknown men entered the Tobacco Hut and approached the counter. During the encounter, one of the suspects brandished a handgun while the other suspect tied the employee's hands and covered his head. No injuries were reported from the incident.
One of the suspects is described as a Hispanic male, standing six-feet two-inches tall and weighing about 225 pounts. The suspect was last seen wearing a gray and black fitted hat, a black jacket and jeans. The other suspect is described as a Hispanic male, five-feet nine-inches tall and about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a jean jacket over a white hooded sweatshirt and jeans. The police provided no age estimates for the two suspects.
