Rooftop Productions' INCORRUPTIBLE?

Bring your laughter and imagination to the Center for the Arts at the Candy Factory when Rooftop Productions opens Michael Hollinger’s, INCORRUPTIBLE on May 1-16. A poignant, quirky “dark ages” comedy with flawed and fascinating characters,INCORRUPTIBLE will tickle your funny bone. Make no bones about it, desperate times call for desperate measures and the monks of the Priseaux Abbey can’t get much more desperate. The chapel roof has collapsed, the library has been flooded, the pantry is bare, the last donkey has died and the relics of St. Foy haven’t produced a miracle in 13 years! How to help the poor, clothe the naked and feed the hungry when you haven’t a paupers portion to spare. The friars all have their crosses to bear and their faith is wavering. But the Lord will provide, and when a wandering minstrel shows up at the monastery, the friars dig up a crazy and twisted scheme that might just boil down to saving the Abbey. Step aside “Monty Python,” here comes INCORRUPTIBLE. God forgive them for what they are about to do!

Directed by Vincent Worthington, the veteran cast includes Jay Tilley, Ted Ballard, George Kitchen, Joe Bersack, Matt Williams, Jennifer Reitz, Carolyn Cameron, and Sallie Willows. Performances are scheduled at the Kellar Theater at the Center for the Arts, 9419 Battle St., Manassas, VA on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm from May 1-16, 2015.
