DUMFRIES, VA—Remember the 7-Eleven robber caught last month only after his getaway vehicle overturned following two stickups? Well, he was foiled yet again by unforeseen circumstances—this time six months after the fact. Also once again, he was charged with robbing two 7-Eleven stores.
Prince William County Police say Avery Terrell Brooks, 30, of the 13900 block of Mipalsal Court, was charged Saturday with two more 7-Eleven robberies. Both occurred Feb. 17, with one in the store at 14797 Darbydale Avenue in Woodbridge and the other in the store at 16170 Country Club Drive in Dumfries.
Already in jail for the other two robberies, Brooks was charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
