Serial Store Robber Busted In Woodbridge: Police
A man suspected of being involved in a series of robberies at various Woodbridge businesses was arrested Wednesday: PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man suspected of being involved in a series of robberies at various Woodbridge businesses since December 2016 was arrested Wednesday after being located by a U.S. Marshals fugitive task force, according to Prince William County Police.
Brandyn James Nelson, 26, of no fixed address, was charged with one count of aggravated malicious wounding, three counts of robbery, two counts of grand larceny, one count of petit larceny (third or subsequent offense), one count of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and other unrelated charges.
Nelson is being held without bond, and additional charges are pending. After being spotted, he was arrested by Prince William County Police after a traffic stop in the area of Reddy Drive and Jefferson Davis Highway. Among the crimes for which he is charged:

- Strong-armed robbery Nov. 21 at the Best Buy on 2730 Prince William Parkway. He allegedly pushed an employee and then grabbed several cell phones before fleeing the store.
- Armed robbery Feb. 17 in Costco at Potomac Mills. He allegedly took jewelry and implied he had a gun.
- Armed robbery Dec. 26 at Ventura Gold on 13412 Jefferson Davis Highway. He allegedly smashed a glass display case, grabbed jewelry and then assaulted an employee with a blunt object.
